ORDER ELIGIBILITY

Fishgoo Shipping Restrictions: Product & Route Eligibility

Check whether Fishgoo can purchase and ship the exact item to your destination, including route restrictions, warehouse flags and seller authorisation.

01

Product Acceptance

Fishgoo reviews purchase requests and can refuse prohibited or restricted goods and refund the relevant payment. Warehouse screening is another check before transport. A product being searchable, pictured or listed in this directory does not establish that Fishgoo can buy or ship it.

02

Check Acceptance at Three Different Levels

A seller being willing to sell an item is only the first part of the decision. Fishgoo must be able to handle the purchase or forwarding request, and the selected international route must accept the actual contents for the destination. An item appearing in a search result or product category does not complete those checks.

Describe the item precisely when asking about acceptance. Include the model, quantity, relevant contents and intended destination, with the product link where available. If a characteristic such as a battery, liquid, sharp component or specialist material could affect handling, identify it rather than assuming that a photograph communicates the full specification. Ask for a decision about that exact item.

03

Recognise the Broad Categories Named in the Policies

Recognise the Broad Categories Named in the Policies
Policy categoryPractical action before purchase
Weapons, explosive and other dangerous goodsDo not assume ordinary parcel services can accept them
Toxic, infectious or other public-health hazardsObtain the required product and transport review
Currency, certain publications and other prohibited articlesCheck the applicable prohibition rather than relying on seller availability
Cultural objects, precious materials and protected species-related itemsClarify any required authorisation and destination restrictions
Perishable, live or inadequately packaged contentsConfirm acceptance and handling rather than treating storage as preservation

This is a summary of categories appearing in Fishgoo’s published policies, not an exhaustive customs list or a ruling on a particular product. Some classes have exceptions or documentation requirements that cannot be resolved from a directory card. Verify the current origin, transport and destination requirements for the goods before paying for a route.

The policies also address packaging that may injure handlers, contaminate other parcels or damage equipment. Acceptance therefore concerns the packed contents as well as the product name. Ask about a suitable arrangement instead of assuming that adding a box makes an otherwise restricted item eligible.

04

Route & Destination Rules

The goods must meet the applicable origin, transport and destination requirements. An item can be acceptable for a domestic purchase but unavailable on a particular international line. Resolve any warehouse restriction marker with support before choosing a shipment; a review does not guarantee customs release.

Once acceptance is confirmed, the parcel submission and tracking guide explains the next shipping steps.

05

Resolve a Restriction Flag before Parcel Submission

The restrictions policy says warehouse goods can be marked for restricted mailing categories or destination unavailability. Contact support to identify the reason and ask what action, documentation or return is appropriate. A request to review a flag is not itself permission to ship.

The policy says that asking about release of a mailing restriction does not remove customs risk. Do not change a description, omit contents or select a different product label to avoid a restriction. Keep the accepted item, declaration and actual packed contents consistent, and follow the decision for the specific route and destination.

06

Brand Authorisation

International branded and luxury goods may require the seller to provide sales authorisation. Fishgoo can terminate a purchase if the required authorisation is unavailable. A brand name, warehouse photo or product link does not itself verify authorisation or authenticity.

07

Apply the Anti-counterfeiting Policy before Ordering

Fishgoo’s anti-counterfeiting policy prohibits facilitating goods that infringe intellectual-property rights. Its examples include unauthorised use of a brand name or logo, misleading imitations, concealed or modified branding and deliberately misspelled brand names. A search result remaining visible does not establish that the offer has been approved.

The policy advises users not to proceed with a suspected infringing product and to report it to customer support. Fishgoo describes filtering efforts but also explains that it cannot regulate or penalise third-party marketplace sellers. Use an authorised purchase route and ask for clarification where seller authorisation is required rather than treating an agent’s search tool as authentication.

08

Pre-purchase Checklist

  • Describe the exact item and contents when asking about acceptance.
  • Confirm the intended country and an eligible shipping line.
  • Check any seller-authorisation requirement.
  • Resolve restriction flags before paying for onward transport.
  • Keep acceptance questions separate from insurance or refund eligibility.
09

Know the Reporting Route and Keep the Evidence

A buyer who receives a suspected counterfeit should preserve the order and supporting evidence and contact the official service promptly. Buyer remedies and the supporting complaint records are covered in the returns guide.

Legitimate rights holders have a separate reporting route: customer service escalates the concern to Fishgoo’s legal team. That rights-holder process is not an automatic buyer refund. Keep the type of report and requested remedy clear.

For a buyer complaint after purchase, use the returns guide’s evidence and remedy checks; rights-holder reports follow the separate route described here.

10

Connect Eligibility with Storage, Returns and Insurance

If goods are marked unsuitable after warehouse arrival, act while the relevant seller-return and storage periods still permit the available options. A long storage allowance does not create permission to export the item, and removing a courier box does not resolve a restriction on its contents. Ask whether a return or another compliant action is required.

Insurance is a separate check after transport eligibility. The fact that a route accepts a parcel does not mean every customs outcome is insured, and an insurance option does not authorise restricted goods. Confirm the actual coverage, exclusions and recipient responsibilities for an eligible parcel before dispatch, using the insurance guide alongside the route’s current terms.

Confirm insurance exclusions separately, because acceptance for transport is not confirmation of cover.
