Fishgoo Returns: Eligibility, Deadlines & Refunds
Check Fishgoo seller-return eligibility and deadlines, prepare a complaint or return request and understand postage, refund timing and balance credits.
Return Eligibility
No-reason returns depend on the seller and the underlying marketplace rules. An eligible item must remain new and suitable for resale, with any required packaging intact. For a quality complaint, collect the order information, payment record, product description and relevant photos, then contact support promptly.
Use the QC photo-review checklist to identify the visible mismatch and describe it clearly in your request.
Identify the Problem before Choosing a Remedy
Separate a change of preference from a visible quality issue, a wrong option or a concern about authenticity. Describe what the order was meant to contain and what the evidence shows. A seller may apply different conditions to these situations, so selecting an inaccurate return reason does not establish who must pay the costs.
Keep tags, packaging and included parts while the request is being considered. The policy requires eligible no-reason returns to remain new and suitable for resale and notes that some products have special packaging conditions. Where the exact condition is unclear, ask support before opening or altering packaging in a way that could affect the seller’s decision.
Return Deadlines
| Time after warehouse stock-in | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Within 5 days (120 hours) | Request an eligible no-reason return before the cutoff; the application section counts from the next full hour after stock-in. Check the seller-platform deadline too. |
| More than 5 but less than 10 days | After-sales assistance can be requested; return acceptance depends on seller negotiation. |
| More than 10 days | After-sales assistance may be unavailable and a refund is not guaranteed, even if an item is returned. |
The application section states 120 hours from the next full hour after stock-in. For Taobao and Weidian, the page also states a seven-day limit from the seller order being marked delivered. These are different status events, so check both rather than assuming they always expire together. Confirm the cutoff shown for the actual order if it is unclear. Storage does not extend either deadline. Submit promptly rather than waiting for a cutoff. The policy says returns cannot be processed while an item is in transit.
Keep seller-return dates separate from the warehouse storage period when deciding whether to wait for more items.
Submit a Complete Request while the Item Is Still Available
Identify the order, selected option, requested remedy and supporting evidence when contacting the team handling the purchase. State whether you want a return, an exchange or clarification of a visible problem. Ask for the cutoff associated with the actual stock-in and seller-delivery events rather than calculating from the date you first viewed the photographs.
An enquiry is not the same as an accepted return. Check whether the seller has agreed, whether the warehouse needs instructions and whether the item has already entered a shipping process. The policy says returns cannot be processed while goods are in transit. Do not submit an international parcel containing a disputed item before its next step has been resolved.
Return Postage
For a non-quality return, the buyer bears the original domestic delivery cost and return postage. When the seller confirms a qualifying quality issue, the policy places the original domestic and return postage on the seller. This does not establish reimbursement of a later international shipment. Free delivery on the original purchase does not automatically mean a free return; the seller’s original postage may still need to be repaid.
Do Not Confuse Free Assistance with Free Return Shipping
Fishgoo lists mainland-China after-sales handling among its free services. That refers to assistance with the issue, not automatic acceptance or a waiver of every cost. The policy places original domestic and return postage on the buyer for a non-quality return and on the seller when a qualifying quality problem is confirmed.
The policy also warns that seller-provided return-shipping insurance may not reimburse an order purchased through the agent’s account. Do not deduct an assumed insurance reimbursement from your budget. Confirm the actual postage, seller agreement and any reimbursement outcome before deciding whether an exchange or return is worthwhile.
Refund Destination
Approved purchase cancellations and returns are credited to the Fishgoo account balance. Do not assume this is an automatic refund to the original card or PayPal account. The policy gives different processing estimates for orders not yet purchased, purchased goods and goods already dispatched or stored. Seller agreement and the return journey still matter. Ask about the actual order state instead of treating a processing estimate as a guaranteed completion date.
The balance and payment notes explain account funding; a credited balance and a withdrawal are different transactions.
Interpret Refund Timing by the Original Order Status
| Order status described by the policy | Published processing reference |
|---|---|
| Payment in Progress or Paid | Immediate refund following cancellation |
| Purchasing in Progress | Within 24 hours |
| Already purchased | Processing within 24 hours; seller timing approximately 1–3 days |
| Shipped and received in the warehouse | Seller acceptance required; usually about 7–15 business days |
The policy provides estimates for different purchase stages. They describe processing after the relevant cancellation or return decision, and seller cooperation can affect the result. A paid order that has not been purchased and an item that must travel back from the warehouse do not follow the same sequence.
Use the account record to confirm that a refund has been credited. A refund to the Fishgoo balance and a request to withdraw that balance are separate actions; the table does not establish a withdrawal processing time. Where the payment is pending verification, the policy also directs users to check the account balance after cancellation.
Report Suspected Counterfeits with Supporting Evidence
The return and anti-counterfeiting policies ask users to report suspected counterfeit or inferior goods promptly. Gather the order details, proof of payment, listing description and evidence explaining the concern. Fishgoo publishes service@fishgoo.com for reports and describes assisting with review and communication with the seller.
Authenticity can require professional assessment or legal proceedings; the returns policy says a third-party assessment fee is the buyer’s responsibility where such an assessment is needed. Neither an image comparison nor submitting a complaint guarantees a finding or a refund. Preserve the relevant records and ask what evidence and remedy are available for the actual order.
