Fishgoo Storage: Deadlines, Packaging & Forwarding
Track Fishgoo warehouse deadlines, handle unmatched or forwarded parcels and plan packaging and consolidation without extending seller-return windows.
Storage Deadlines
| Parcel or order status | Storage period |
|---|---|
| Matched purchasing and forwarding goods | Up to 100 days from the “In Storage” status. |
| Unmatched or abnormal parcels | 30 days from the “Signed In” status. |
The storage help page distinguishes two deadlines: matched goods can remain for up to 100 days, while unmatched or abnormal parcels have 30 days. Unmatched parcels include deliveries that arrive before an order exists or lack enough information to identify the owner. Track the deadline for each item; the date you paid is not necessarily the storage start date.
Keep a Separate Clock for Every Item
Record the status and date for each stored item instead of assigning one deadline to the entire shopping basket. Purchases from different sellers can arrive on different days. The ordinary storage clock is linked to the In Storage status, while an unmatched parcel uses the Signed In event under the shorter rule.
A useful personal list contains the order or tracking number, intake status, start date and the next action you plan to take. This is a planning aid, not a claim that Fishgoo guarantees automatic reminders. Review the actual warehouse records regularly, especially when waiting for a final purchase before combining a shipment.
Storage time does not extend a seller’s return window. Check the return deadlines as soon as a problem is noticed.
Expiry & Extensions
The help page states that goods without the required action by the applicable deadline are treated as abandoned and disposed of without further notice. Submit shipping instructions or arrange an available extended-storage service before the deadline. Storage protection does not extend a perishable product’s shelf life.
Deal with Unmatched Parcels Promptly
An unmatched parcel may have reached the warehouse before the forwarding order was created or may lack enough information to identify its owner. Keep the domestic tracking number, seller dispatch information and your forwarding-order reference together when asking support to locate it. A carrier’s delivery scan and a completed warehouse record are different status events.
The storage policy gives these parcels 30 days from Signed In and says reminders cannot be issued when the owner cannot be matched. Do not assume that contacting support automatically restarts the clock or extends the period. Ask which record has been matched, what action is still required and which deadline applies to the specific parcel.
Forwarding Inspection
Forwarded parcels receive prohibited-item screening, weighing and inventory recording. Heavily damaged packages can be refused or returned. Where the forwarding flow offers an inspection-and-verification option, check what you have selected: screening alone does not mean the quantity, colour and size were all verified.
Use the warehouse QC guide for the distinction between prohibited-item screening, optional verification and visible order checks.
Choose the Verification Service Deliberately
The logistics policy separates forwarding with Inspection and Verification from forwarding without it. The verified flow checks visible details such as quantity, colour and size; the unverified flow is limited to prohibited-item screening and generally keeps the original box. The published responsibility limitations differ between these choices.
Before sending goods to the warehouse, check what was selected for the forwarding order and what evidence will be available after intake. If matching the contents is important, ask about verification before expecting a later missing-item complaint to be supported by an intake check that was never requested. Technical performance and sealed contents remain outside the basic visual scope.
Separate Domestic Delivery from Warehouse Recording
The inspection and logistics pages give different general domestic-delivery reference ranges. Neither supplies a guaranteed intake deadline for every seller or courier. Follow the carrier’s actual delivery record and the warehouse status together; a missing warehouse entry should be investigated using the tracking number rather than an assumed universal number of days.
If a delivered parcel is not recorded, ask the domestic carrier or Fishgoo support to clarify the handover and intake. Keep the shipping label or delivery evidence available. For a parcel flagged as unsuitable for transport, resolve the return or acceptance question with support instead of treating the storage entry as permission to ship internationally.
Packaging & Consolidation
After inspection, an ordinary courier box may be removed and goods placed in storage bags. Fragile, oversized or specially packaged items may keep their original box. Check the actual stored-item record before deciding what packaging to retain or which items to combine. A long storage period does not extend the seller’s return window.
The sneaker-box volume examples show why consolidating packages can change dimensional weight even when the goods weigh the same.
Balance Space, Protection and Presentation
Removing an ordinary courier box and retaining a product’s protective or presentation packaging are different choices. The policy allows fragile, easily damaged and oversized goods, and some boxes serving as product packaging, to keep their original box according to the actual handling circumstances. Ask about the package you need preserved before requesting removal.
Combining items can change the final dimensions and protection needed. A lighter group of goods does not automatically produce the lowest chargeable weight if the resulting outer box is large. Review the packed parcel quote and eligible routes before deciding that consolidation or box removal will save a particular amount.
Use the Storage Period for Planning, Not Delaying Problems
The free-service page lists 100-day storage, but that benefit does not extend a seller’s return deadline or a product’s shelf life. Review the QC record when each item arrives, resolve an eligible return promptly and only then leave accepted goods waiting for a combined shipment.
Before the storage deadline, submit the necessary shipping instructions or check the available extended-storage service. The policy permits disposal of goods without further notice when required action is missing after expiry. Do not rely on a last-day reminder, an unsubmitted parcel draft or an unanswered support message as proof that storage has been extended.
